Woo-Hoo!!! We are so happy with how the 23rd Annual Lebanon Blues Festival turned out!! We enjoyed meeting new friends and seeing some familiar faces even. Ohio really showed Twisted Picks some love and we couldn’t be more elated.
First we want to thank Lebanon for having us. This town is beyond charming. The buildings seem straight out a small town movie set. We ate and drank from local shops and vendors. We enjoyed good people and better music. What more can one ask for from a festival?
One of out favorite things to do at an event is hide little treasures for you to bring back to us for a free gift. Below see those who stayed curious and found themselves in our booth choosing out the perfect pick for them.
The Greenhouse Café served some delicious iced coffee with a monk fruit sweetener that helped wake us up to start our day. It hit the spot because soon after the music began, we started seeing your lovely faces coming in to check out what we had to offer you. The rain stayed at bay to let the blues play on and boy did they. We were also able to enjoy a local restaurant Villaggio's Italian Eatery which makes an amazing artichoke pizza that made out toes curl!! We can’t wait to come back for a visit just to experience the town.
Another highlight of this past weekend was getting to meet friends of friends. Liz Pennock and Dr. Blues played a great set before making their way to our booth. We found ourselves talking and getting to know one another when we found that we had a common blues friend. Lita Sewer has been a close friend of ours since meeting her at one of our first blues event in Linda Peters Park for Bluesa Palooza! It was great meeting Liz and Dr. Blues and look forward to seeing them again.
Twisted Picks will be appearing next at The Clifton Gorge Music and arts festival where you will find good music, good people and good times. We hope to see you there.
